PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus configured to prevent toner from scattering to the outside of a developing apparatus, and the developing apparatus.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 10 includes: a photoreceptor 102; a developing apparatus body 202 storing developer; a developing sleeve 260 which is rotated with developer held thereon to supply the developer to the photoreceptor 102 in a supply area A; an inflow passage part 280 having an inlet 282 arranged downstream of the supply area A in a rotation direction of the developing sleeve 260, to introduce the air into the developing apparatus body 202; and a discharge passage part 290 for discharging the air inside the developing apparatus body 202 through an outlet 294. The outlet 294 and the inlet 282 are adjacent to each other. |
