COMPOSITION FOR IMAGING GENE EXPRESSION IN VIVO

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition and a method for imaging gene expression in mammalian cells in vivo.SOLUTION: As a reporter gene, a gene encoding variant human muscarinic acetylcholine M4 receptor (hM4D) or variant human muscarinic acetylcholine M3 receptor (hM3D) is used. As a tracer detecting hM4D or hM3D that the gene expresses and produces, a radioisotope labeled dibenzo diazepine derivative which specifically binds with hM4D or hM3D is used.
