<p>The present invention relates to a portable computer including a flat plate type heat pipe. The portable computer includes a main body unit (10). The main body unit (10) includes: an outer case which forms the outer body; a main board (3) which includes a CPU (1) and a main memory unit; an auxiliary memory unit (4) which reads or writes data communicated with the main board (3); and a battery pack (5) which supplies power to components including the main board (3) and the auxiliary memory unit (4). Heat generated by the CPU (11) is delivered to the battery pack (5) through the flat heat pipe (13). Therefore, it is possible to remove operational noise due to the operation of a cooling fan, maintain the heat discharging performance of the CPU without an additional heat discharging component, shorten the manufacturing process, reduce the unit cost, secure more inner space of the outer case as the space occupied by the cooling fan is removed, and accordingly improve the capacity or lifetime of the battery pack.</p> |
