<p>The present invention relates to a method for preparing a fluorescent material-gintonin conjugate and to a composition containing gintonin as an active ingredient for promoting neural progenitor cell proliferation or neurogenesis. According to the present invention, gintonin labeled with a fluorescent material is prepared, thereby labeling the fluorescent material on a lysophosphatidic acid (LPA) having a small molecular weight and tracing target cells of gintonin or principles of interaction with organs in vitro and in vivo studies. Furthermore, the present invention contains gintonin, which is a glycolipoprotein isolated from ginseng, as an active ingredient, thereby promoting neural progenitor cell proliferation and neurogenesis in the brain hippocampus, and thus has effects of preventing or treating degenerative diseases and improving memory power and learning ability.</p> |
