The distal end part (21) of an ultrasonic endoscope includes: an ultrasonic vibrator section (60); a wiring board (43) electrically connected to the ultrasonic vibrator section (60); a backing material (64) filling the wiring board (43); pieces of wiring (41a) connected to the wiring board (43); a restriction section (50) disposed at a position surrounded by the wiring board (43), the backing material (64), and a holding frame (63); wiring board-side fitting sections (43a-43d) provided to the wiring board (43); a first restriction section-side fitting section (51a) provided to a restriction section (60) and fitting to the wiring board-side fitting sections (43a-43d); and an affixation section (41b) for affixing the restriction section (60) to the backing material (64) or the holding frame (63) to thereby maintain the connection between the ultrasonic vibrator section (60) and the wiring board (43). |
