<p>A standby management method and television is disclosed in the present invention. The standby management method includes: when receiving a standby command, the television reads transmission record information between the television and a mobile terminal; when the information related to ongoing media stream transmission between the television and the mobile terminal exists in the transmission record information, the television performs an operation of turning off the television backlight; when the information related to ongoing media stream transmission between the television and the mobile terminal does not exist in the transmission record information, the television performs a routine standby operation. The present invention, when a user is going to turn off a television, a mobile terminal or a signal input device, informs the user about the current related shared information between the television and the mobile terminal, and performs the standby operation according to the user's choice, avoiding the situation of multimedia information transmission interruption between the television and the mobile terminal caused by unknowingly or inadvertently turning off the signal input device by the user, more humanized, and greatly improving user experience.</p> |
