PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oral composition for maintaining health of the gum and the gingiva by suppressing and inhibiting absorption of alveolar bone, and to provide an oral composition for prevention, treatment, or improvement of periodontitis.SOLUTION: The invention provides an oral composition for maintaining health of the gum and the gingiva, containing, as an active ingredient, at least one kind selected from Oleuropein which is a polyphenol glycoside contained a lot in Olea europaea plant (e.g., olive) leaf and the like, and degraded products thereof; and an oral composition for prevention, treatment, or improvement. |
