<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silencer exerting high silencing properties even while having a simpler and easier-to-install structure than before.SOLUTION: A silencer 1 includes: a first side wall 3 sectionalizing a medium 2; a first circumferential wall 9 projecting from one side face 3A of the first side wall 3, and surrounding the medium 2 to form a first internal space 2A; and an orifice 5 provided inside the first side wall 3, forming a first cross section sudden change part 5A, and allowing flowing-through of the medium 2 between the first internal space 2A of the first circumferential wall 9 and the other face 3B of the first side wall 3. The silencer 1 also includes a first porus cylindrical body 7 projecting into the first internal space 2A from the peripheral edge 5E of the orifice 5, and a projection length L of the first porus cylindrical body 7 is set in a range of 0.1-1 times the diameter D of the orifice 5.</p> |
