A sanitary washing device comprises a nozzle device, a water pump, a heat exchanger, a flow regulation valve, and a control unit. The nozzle device comprises an anal cleaning channel, a bidet cleaning channel, and a nozzle cleaning channel. When washing operations for anal cleaning or bidet cleaning are performed, the control unit starts, in order, driving the water pump and the heat exchanger and, after supplying water that has been heated by the heat exchanger to the selected channel for a prescribed time, switches the flow regulating valve selection to the nozzle cleaning channel. In addition, the warm water supply to the nozzle cleaning channel continues even while the nozzle part is advancing from a stored position to a cleaning position. Thus, suitable cleaning is achieved by suppressing a drop in the temperature of the cleaning water during movement and spraying warm water that is sufficiently heated from the start of the spraying. |
