PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a focus adjustment device capable of applying appropriate correction depending on condition of an image capturing lens and image sensor.SOLUTION: A focus adjustment device includes: an image sensor 21 which has image capturing pixels and focus detection pixels and receives and photoelectrically converts light rays passing through an image capturing lens to generate image signals; a first storage unit (#9) which stores information associated with an exit angle range of light rays exiting toward the image sensor; a second storage unit (#15) which stores information associated with properties of the image sensor 21; and an arithmetic unit (#13) which computes information required for focus adjustment based on output from the first storage unit and output from the second storage unit. |
