PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a server virtual control method configured to achieve overall power-saving of a facility without hindering operation of a server.SOLUTION: A server virtual control method which controls load allocation between upper and lower physical servers installed in a rack includes: an allocation step of allocating the upper physical server in the rack as a low-load server and allocating the lower physical server in the rack as a high-load server, in consideration of heat flow phenomenon; a load prediction step which predicts temporal change in load on the physical servers; and time prediction step which predicts the time when the loads on the physical servers need to be balanced, in the load prediction step. In the allocation step, a physical server for sharing the load is turned ON earlier by the time required for starting the server than the predicted time when the loads needs to be balanced, preferably. |
