A method and associated system for confirming standard compliance for at least one agricultural product using an agricultural pedigree for each agricultural product comprises the steps of: a) Providing an information storage device adapted to receive input of data for each agricultural product relating to at least one of the agricultural product's production, harvesting, distribution, processing and consumption; b) Inputting data into the information storage device; c) Storing said data; d) Maintaining an agricultural pedigree data for each agricultural product utilizing at least a portion of the data; and e) Evaluating compliance of each agricultural product with preexisting standards in accordance with predefined standard requirements using the agricultural pedigree data for each agricultural product.
