1. A method for using a mobile device to provide information to a point-of-sale (POS) terminal, the method comprising:
detecting a communication with the POS terminal via near field communication (NFC); displaying, on a display of the mobile device, a credit card image stored in the mobile device in response to the detecting; receiving a fingerprint input of a user of the mobile device; and if the received fingerprint input is determined to be valid, providing information corresponding to a credit card related to the displayed credit card image to the POS terminal, in order to facilitate a performance of a transaction by a settlement server.
