<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measurement system which can normally operate even when any of an OCT catheter, an IVUS catheter and an OCT+IVUS catheter is connected thereto.SOLUTION: A measurement system includes: a probe which has all or any one of an electric wire built in between a proximal end and a distal end to transmit an RF signal, a transducer provided on the distal end to mutually convert the RF signal and an ultrasonic wave, and an optical fiber built in between the proximal end and the distal end to transmit light, and reflects part of the light and ultrasonic wave on the distal end; and a measurement device which is connected to the probe, generates the light and RF signal to output them and detect them. The measurement device performs both or one of IVUS measurement and OCT measurement on the basis of the result of determination on the presence and absence of reflection of the light and ultrasonic wave on the distal end.</p> |
