PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base station apparatus capable of precisely measuring the line quality of own cell in a state free from interference by a neighboring cell.SOLUTION: The base station apparatus includes: a transmission section that transmits, to a terminal, a piece of information representing a sub frame for measuring CQI, which includes a sub frame to which a second cell transmits no data, in plural sub frames including a sub frame to which a first cell and the second cell transmit a data, and a sub frame to which the second cell transmits no data; and a reception section that receives the CQI measured by the terminal on a sub frame represented by the information.
