PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for a high-performance tire and a production method of the rubber composition which shows an excellent performance balance of dry grip performance (initial performance and reduction suppressing performance) and wear resistance performance and which can be easily produced, and a high-performance tire and a high-performance dry tire using the rubber composition.SOLUTION: A tread rubber composition for a high-performance tire is provided, which is obtained through the steps of preparing a mixture by mixing 75 mass% or more of a rubber component with a softening agent, and further mixing the obtained mixture with 75 mass% of a reinforcer.
