<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-based coating composition in which the exhibition of thixotropy is suppressed and an obtained coating film has excellent weatherability.SOLUTION: There is provided a water-based coating composition obtained by dispersing or dissolving resin into water or an aqueous medium having water as a main component, and containing a cellulose fiber having an average fiber diameter of 2 to 300 nm by 0.01 to 0.045 mass%. The water-based coating composition preferably is composed of an aqueous emulsion in which resin is dispersed in an aqueous medium. Also preferably, a solid content amount in the water-based coating composition is 10 to 90 mass%.</p> |
