The purpose of the present invention is to prevent short-circuiting. Disclosed is a male connector (M) that is to be connected to each of a plurality of battery cells (1) in a battery assembly constituted by connecting the battery cells (1), and that is for measuring the voltage of each of the battery cells, the male connector comprising: a plurality of male terminal fittings (14); a male connector housing (11) that has a hood part (13) into which a counterpart connector can be fitted, said male terminal fittings (14) being protruded so as to be lined up within the hood part (13); and a partitioning wall (15) that is arranged within the hood part (13), and that partitions the male terminal fittings (14), which are arranged within the hood part (13), into a first group (G1) and a second group (G2) in a state where the terminal fitting groups are electrically insulated from one another. The terminal fitting groups (G1, G2) arranged adjacent to one another across the partitioning wall (15) each include one of terminal fittings that constitute a terminal fitting pair having the maximum potential difference among all of the male terminal fittings (14) arranged within the hood part (13).
