The present invention provides a secondary battery comprising: a cathode having a current collector coated with a cathode material containing a cathode active material; an anode having a current collector coated with an anode material containing an anode active material, the anode comprising a carbon-based material and a silicone-based compound; and an electrolyte containing a lithium salt and a non-aqueous solvent, the electrolyte comprising a cyclic carbonate and/or linear solvent, and the secondary battery exhibits excellent lifespan characteristics and stability.
