PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating composition for radiation shielding sheets, capable of providing a radiation shielding sheet for radiation shielding protective clothing which is easily mounted on a human body, allows the human body to easily moving about even after the mounting and has an effect on even radiation shielding, and a radiation shielding sheet using the same.SOLUTION: The coating composition for radiation shielding sheets contains (e) 100-200 pts.wt. of a tungsten powder to 100 pts.wt. of the total amount of (a), by organo alkoxysilane conversion, 10-30 wt.% of organo siloxanes consisting of at least one kind selected from a group of organo alkoxysilane, its hydrolyzate and its condensate, (b) 10-30 wt.% of an acrylic resin and (c) 10-60 wt.% of a hydrophilic organic solvent and (d) 10-60 wt.% of water (where, (a)+(b)+(c)+(d)=100 wt.%) and has 10-40 wt.% of a solid content concentration. The radiation shielding sheet is obtained by applying the coating composition to a base material consisting of a fabric. |
