PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection box for an optical cable that has excellent workability to ensure workability of optical cable connection and impervious performance.SOLUTION: A connection box 29 comprises division bodies 31a and 31b of a main body, and a lid part 33. An insertion hole 32 through which an optical cable 5 is inserted is provided on the end of the division bodies 31a and 31b. Engagement parts 35a and 35b are provided on the end of the division bodies 31a and 31b on the opposite side of the insertion hole 32. The engagement parts 35a and 35b are bent parts bent inward and outward, respectively. The division bodies 31a and 31b are connected and integrated when the engagement parts 35a and 35b are engaged.
