摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery monitoring device capable of shortening time for address learning of each monitoring IC.SOLUTION: Provided is a battery monitoring device 12 in which a plurality of monitoring units 21 for monitoring a battery state is connected in series. The respective monitoring units 21 sequentially transmit a signal to the monitoring units 21 connected in rear stages thereof, with the monitoring unit 21 connected to an external device transmitting the signal acting as a starting point. The respective monitoring units 21 sequentially transmit a reception response in response to the signal to the monitoring units 21 connected in front stages thereof, with the monitoring unit 21 in the rearmost stage acting as a starting point. Each monitoring unit 21 includes: time measuring means 26 measuring time since the monitoring unit 21 receives the signal until transmitting the reception response; and learning means 25 learning an address of a machine in which the monitoring unit 21 is mounted, depending on the time.</p>
