<p>The present invention relates to a front-loading bread maker (1). The front-loading bread maker (1) has a front-opening door (3) hinged at its lower edge (4), and a removable container (7) in which bread-making ingredients are processed and baked. A carriage urges the container (7) out of the oven cavity through the door (3) in order to facilitating the insertion and extraction of the bread container (7). A coupling (24) is arranged between a first drive member (30) associated with the container (7), and a second drive member (23) driven by a motor. The coupling (24) can be readily disengaged to facilitate urging the container (7) out of the oven cavity. A sensor (36) senses the angle of rotation of rotating parts such as a blade and the coupling (24) in order to interrupt the drive such that the rotation can be stopped in an alignment that can facilitate the insertion and extraction of the bread container (7) and can also confine irregularity in the baked bread caused by the blade to a minimum.</p> |
