<p>The present invention relates to a SAS-type data converting system with an internal storage module, comprising: a main board to which one or more IDE hard disks, one or more SATA hard disks, one or more SCSI hard disks, and one or more SAS hard disks are connected selectively or simultaneously; a SAS conversion board which includes an identification unit identifying a type of the SATA hard disk or the SCSI hard disk, a capacity determination unit determining each storage capacity of the hard disks identified by the identification unit, and a conversion unit which calculates amounts of data to be converted for each of the hard disks determined by the capacity determination unit and then converts the data to be converted to SAS-type data in decreasing order of the amounts of data to be converted; an internal storage module which receives the converted SAS-type data and then stores sequentially the same in decreasing order of the amounts thereof; a RAID controller which receives the data stored in the internal storage module to copy and back up the same to a plurality of SAS hard disks; an MCP which recognizes the plurality of SAS hard disks to which the data is to be copied and backed up, as one main hard disk and one or more sub hard disks; and a hot swap controller which recognizes one of the one or more sub hard disks as a main hard disk when an error occurs at the one main disk, thereby converting data stored in various types of hard disks, in decreasing order of the amount of data, to SAS-type data, storing the SAS-type data to an internal storage module, and then storing and backing up the same to one or SAS hard disks so as to enable integrated management of distributed data.</p> |
