PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure conveyance accuracy during printing on a label paper having an adhesive layer by a simple control and configuration when conveying and printing the paper, and prevent reduction in productivity.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: a printing medium to which adhesive treatment is applied to a wound surface and which is in a wound state; conveyance means for extending an end part of the printing medium in a wound state and conveying in a predetermined direction; printing means for performing printing processing to the conveyed printing medium; peeling means for peeling off adhesive treatment of the printing medium by extending the end part, which is an end part different from the end part of printing medium and in a state immediately before being peeled off from the wound surface, in a direction different from the predetermined direction in the state where conveyance of the printing medium is stopped. |
