<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus configured to properly set an electrical value of a transfer unit, and to determine the value earlier than before.SOLUTION: Light-emitting means is forced to emit light at the start of a polygon mirror. Transfer control means corrects a transfer voltage, which has been set so that detected currents are equal to a target current, in order to eliminate a difference between the currents to be detected when an exposure part and a non-exposure part of a photoreceptor reach a transfer nip part, to determine a reference transfer voltage, or to determine a transfer voltage obtained by correcting the detected currents to be equal to the target current, as the reference transfer voltage.</p> |
