<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately acquire a plurality of images different in an exposure amount used for dynamic range magnification while exposure control corresponding to a luminance change of a subject is performed.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus includes: imaging means for accumulating an electrical charge corresponding to an amount of incident light and outputting an image; control means for periodically and continuously outputting a first image and a second image different in an exposure amount as a group used for synthesis from the first image in order to the imaging means; and drive control means for changing a light volume adjusting degree by controlling driving of a light volume adjusting member for adjusting a light volume which is made incident on the imaging means. The drive control means controls the driving of the light volume adjusting member so that the light volume adjusting degree is changed before start of accumulation of the electrical charge of the first image and the light adjusting degree is not changed during the accumulation of the electrical charge of the first image and during the accumulation of the electrical charge of the second image, and the light volume adjusting degree is not changed in the first image and the second image.</p> |
