<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which: when documents are conveyed to read images of the documents, the documents conveyed may be multi-fed; however, when an image reading device includes only one tray to receive ejected documents, the document lost due to the multi-feed cannot be easily specified.SOLUTION: An image reading device detects the multi-feed of documents conveyed, displays first image data obtained by reading an image of a first document detected to have been multi-fed and second image data obtained by reading an image of a second document conveyed subsequent to the first document together with information indicating the occurrence of the multi-feed, and presents the data and information to a user.</p> |
