PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use up consumables by refraining from replacing a consumable container when detecting consumables for image formation of a color except black being nearly used up.SOLUTION: An image formation device (100) includes: a toner cartridge (500) which contains toner and is detachable; a storage part (501) which detects the remaining amount of the toner in the toner cartridge; and a display part (204) which gives notice that a replacement preparation period of the toner cartridge is entered, and forms an image on a form with the toner. Then the image formation device includes: a toner remaining amount determination part (252) which determines a near-end state in which the toner in the toner cartridge is small in amount; and a replacement notification control part (253) which displays a message for replacement preparation for the toner cartridge when the toner is black, but does not display the message for replacement preparation for the toner cartridge when the toner is not black.
