PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linearly mounted LED module capable of improving the brightness at both sides in a shorter direction of a luminaire and a luminaire with the LED module disposed thereon.SOLUTION: An LED module 1 includes: a long-shaped base plate 2; LED chips mounted on one face 2a of the base plate 2 in plural rows along the longitudinal direction; and light transmissive encapsulation resins 4, 5 formed at one face 2a of the base plate 2 so as to seal each of the LED chips in a dome-like shape. The shape and size of the encapsulation resin 5 positioned at the outer-most rows of the base plate 2 are different from the shape and the size of the encapsulation resin 4 positioned in a row neighboring the outer-most row. |
