PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a break of light when connected to a lighting fixture by causing the lighting fixture to emit light to its end part, and to improve its design.SOLUTION: A light source unit and illumination device include a light source unit 203 having a plurality of LEDs 204 and a substrate 206 on which the plurality of LEDs 204 are mounted, a light source unit main body 202 that has a rectangle light source attachment face 202a to which the substrate 206 is attached and in which, when the light source unit 203 is attached to the fixture main body 110, the long side of the rectangle extends along the longitudinal direction of a lighting fixture main body 110, and a translucent cover 205 that is attached to the light source unit main body 202 so as to cover the light source unit 203. In the translucent cover 205, at least an end face 201b on each side in the longitudinal direction is translucent. |
