<p>The invention relates to power engineering and to mechanical engineering and can be used in designing and manufacturing cavitation reactors intended for preparing various water-containing fuel mixtures for combustion in internal combustion engines and boilers, and also for removing micro-particles and nano-particles of petroleum and petroleum products from water. The aim of the invention is to increase the operational reliability of a cavitation reactor and to decrease the amount of energy used in the high-quality cavitation processing of a liquid. The following technical results can be achieved by implementing the invention: increasing the structural reliability and the service life of a cavitation reactor, while simultaneously decreasing the speed of establishing intensive cavitation and increasing the dimensions of an area (zone) for the intensive cavitation of a liquid in the cavitation reactor; simplifying the manufacture of the cavitation reactor. The technical results are achieved in that a cavitation reactor contains a housing having a liquid displacement channel, said channel having a partition, and said partition containing at least one aperture, wherein the liquid displacement channel and the aperture (or apertures, if there are more than one) in the partition are made to be tapering.</p> |
