PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide means for manufacturing, with stability, an electrode active material slurry for manufacturing an electrode active material layer used for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery for a short length of time while preventing the agglomeration.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing an electrode active material slurry for nonaqueous electrolyte secondary batteries comprises: a first kneading step for adding 4-20 mass% of a first solvent containing a nitrogen-containing organic solvent to 100 mass% of solid contents including electrode active material powder and then, kneading them to prepare a first mixture; and a second kneading step for adding, to the first mixture, a liquid solution including a second solvent and a binder dissolved or distributed in the second solvent, and then, kneading them to prepare a second mixture. |
