PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interactive method of predicting facility failure capable of determining a combination of data items appropriate for using to predict an occurrence of facility failure in a practicable calculation time with sufficient accuracy of prediction.SOLUTION: The method of predicting facility failure includes the steps of: acquiring relevancy between a conservation-related data and a facility failure (101); receiving a selection of critical related data item made by a maintenance personnel (102); determining a combination fixing part by performing failure prediction using the critical related data item (103); performing a failure prediction while adding data items which has low relevancy with the critical related data items to the combination (104); performing a failure prediction while adding the remaining data items to the combination (105); selecting a combination of data items in which the prediction accuracy is the highest (106); and performing a failure prediction on a facility in which the state is unclear (107). |
