<p>The purpose of the present invention is to enable a capacitive switch to accurately specify which operation surface the user is attempting to operate. This capacitive switch comprises a specifying unit that, in cases where there are simultaneously a plurality of operation surfaces having been determined as being touched, specifies which one of the plurality of operation surfaces is the target operation surface. The specifying unit includes a first candidate selection unit and a difference calculation unit. The first candidate selection unit selects an operation surface having the largest detection value as a first candidate operation surface. The difference calculation unit calculates the difference between the detection value of the first candidate operation surface and the detection value of another operation surface among the detection values of the plurality of operation surfaces having been determined as being touched. The specifying unit specifies the first candidate operation surface as the target operation surface on condition that said difference is greater than or equal to a predetermined value (A).</p> |
