<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger capable of achieving excellent air conditioning and energy saving performance in both cooling and heating operation and to provide a heating and cooling air conditioning system using the heat exchanger.SOLUTION: A heating and cooling air conditioning system comprises: a windward side outdoor unit heat exchanger which has a laterally-halved interior space; and a leeward side outdoor unit heat exchanger which is juxtaposed to the windward side outdoor unit heat exchanger and has a single interior space. When performing cooling operation, the heating and cooling air conditioning system allows a high temperature and pressure cooling medium to be circulated in the entire interior space of the windward side outdoor unit heat exchanger. When performing heating operation, the heating and cooling air conditioning system allows the high temperature and pressure cooling medium and a low temperature and pressure cooling medium to be circulated in a lower side of the laterally-halved interior space and an upper side thereof respectively.</p> |
