PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent or suppress damage of the rotation support mechanism of a cell body due to an ejected object even when internal gas and the ejected object such as a treated object are ejected from an annular gap between the cell body and connection equipment by abrupt internal pressure rise of the cell body, in a case where the annular gap is sealed by a simple seal mechanism.SOLUTION: A rotary dryer 1 has a partition plate 9 that is erected on an outer peripheral surface 3g of a hollow cylindrical cell body 3 along the circumferential direction of the cell body and toward radial outside, and partitions the gap between an annular gap D1 and a rotation support mechanism 10.
