1. A liquid crystal display, comprising:
a first substrate; a first gate line, a second gate line, and a data line formed on the first substrate; a first switching element and a second switching element connected to the first gate line and the data line; a first subpixel electrode connected to the first switching element; a second subpixel electrode and a third subpixel electrode connected to the second switching element; a first transforming capacitor formed between the second switching element and the third subpixel electrode; a third switching element connected to the second switching element and configured to be switched by a signal received from the second gate line; a second transforming capacitor connected to the third switching element; a second substrate; a common electrode formed on the second substrate; and a liquid crystal layer formed between the first substrate and the second substrate.
