A carbon fiber reinforced resin composition formed by blending (B) 60-200 parts by weight of carbon fibers and (C) 0.01-10 parts by weight of dendritic polyester into (A) 100 parts by weight of a semi-aromatic polyamide resin that has a melting point of 220-300℃ and that is obtained by the polycondensation of a dicarboxylic acid containing 60-100 mol% of terephthalic acid in the total amount of the dicarboxylic acid, and a diamine containing a total of 60-100 mol% of 1,9-nonanediamine and/or 2-methyl-1,8-octanediamine in the total amount of the diamine. Provided are a carbon fiber reinforced resin composition, pellets, and a thinly molded article obtained by extrusion molding of the pellets and for use in a casing for an electronic device that make it possible to obtain molded articles with less warpage, while exhibiting excellent thermal stability, retention stability, fluidity, and suitability for molding thin articles, as well as rigidity of a level equivalent to metal, an attractive appearance, and water adsorption characteristics. |
