PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device with high operation performance and reliability.SOLUTION: An EL display device includes a plurality of pixels each having: at least an EL element 204; a first transistor 202 electrically connected to the EL element 204; a second transistor 201 electrically connected to source wiring 21; and a retention capacitor 203, where the second transistor 201 has a function as a switching element and the first transistor 202 has a function of controlling a current amount to be flowed from a current supply line 212 to the EL element 204.
