<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cyclodextrin-based polymers for therapeutic delivery.SOLUTION: Methods and compositions relating to CDP-taxane conjugates are described herein. According to the present invention, the invention relates to a novel composition of cyclodextrin-containing polymer for treatment which is conjugated to taxane, particles comprising the cyclodextrin-containing polymer for treatment which is conjugated to taxane, a composition and a mixture comprising a cyclodextrin (cyclo dextran)-containing polymer, and a method for use thereof. In one embodiment, these cyclodextrin-containing polymers improve taxane stability and/or taxane solubility, and/or reduce taxane toxicity, and/or improve the efficacy of taxane, when used in a body.</p> |
