<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately determine the suction state of the suction parts sucking an installation surface (sucked object).SOLUTION: An installation-type image pickup apparatus includes: suction parts 6a-6d on a side opposite to a photographic optical system, the suction part being caused to suck a sucked object for enabling installation; installation state detection sensors 7a, 7b disposed near the suction parts; and control means. The suction parts are disposed such that at least one suction part is disposed in each of four regions formed by dividing an outer surface part where the suction parts are provided by a horizontal line and a vertical line, each line passing through the center of gravity G of the installation-type image pickup apparatus. The installation state detection sensors are disposed such that at least one installation state detection sensor is disposed in each of at least two diagonal regions of the four regions. The control means determines the suction state of the suction parts on the basis of the installation state detected by the diagonally disposed installation state detection sensors. The control means perform control according to the determination result.</p> |
