<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent wear and breakage of metal circular lower blades to be contacted with a side surface of a circular annular pressing member.SOLUTION: A pair of lower blades 15 are disposed on axially opposite sides of a circular annular pressing member 17 that is rotationally driven around the axis while keeping in contact with a belt-shaped material 11 via the outer peripheral surface of the pressing member 17. The lower blades 15 are rotationally driven at a rotational speed different from that of the circular annular pressing member 17 so as to cut the belt-shaped material 11 along a feed direction. Protection materials 18 made of a synthetic resin material, which has lower hardness than the metal lower blades 15, are respectively disposed on the axially opposite sides of the circular annular pressing member 17 that can contact with an axial side surface of each of the lower blades 15.</p> |
