<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum alloy and a sliding member improved in abrasion resistance.SOLUTION: There is provided an aluminum alloy which comprises 4.0 to 10.0 mass% of Sn, 4.0 to 8.0 mass% of Si, 0.3 to 1.5 mass% of Cu and Al, wherein the average diameter of Si particles in a predetermined cross section is 5.0 to 15.0μm and in the cross section, the ratio of Si particles having an aspect ratio of 1.5 or more to the total number of Si particles is 35.0% or more.</p> |
