PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyimide porous membrane in which both surfaces of a porous membrane are substantially opened and which has a low gurley value.SOLUTION: A polyimide porous film is formed by using a polyimide precursor reaction production solution for production of a porous membrane including reaction product formed of polyimide precursor having a carboxyl group and a basic compound forming the carboxyl group and salt of the polyimide precursor, good solvent of the reaction product, and nonsolvent of the reaction product having a boiling point higher than that of the good solvent by 20°C or more.
