On a processor, a method of measuring a distance change, the method comprising: acquiring characteristic information of an object in a first frame image, characteristic information of a background of the first frame image, and input characteristic information of a second frame image; determining, based on an optical flow calculated between the object in the first frame image and the object in the second frame image, a feature point of the object in the first frame image and a matching point of the object in the second frame image, wherein the matching point corresponds to the feature point; calculating a length change ratio between the object in the first frame image and the object in the second frame image by using the feature point and the matching point; and calculating a change in a distance between a camera and the object from when the camera acquires the first frame image and when the camera acquires the second frame image by using the length change ratio.
