The present invention relates to an implantable vertebral arthrodesis device (1) for fusing two overlying and underlying vertebrae, including a front portion (2) having upper and lower supporting areas (2a, 2b) capable of receiving the lower (3) and upper (6) portions of the upper (4) and lower (7) lamellae of the underlying (5) and overlying (8) vertebrae, respectively, said areas (2a, 2b) being spaced apart by a minimum height h (h1) in order to keep an intervertebral spacing; rigid retention means (9) being arranged with respect to the front portion (2) such as to block the migration of said front portion (2) toward the vertebral canal; a rear portion (10), in connection with said front portion (2), including a main recess (11) having first (11a) and second (11b) openings which face one another and are capable of partially receiving the spinous processes (12, 13); and a granular osteosynthesis material arranged in said main recess (11). |
