<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a droplet discharge head which is a type in which a circulating flow of liquid is generated in a pressure chamber and prevents a head body from becoming larger in size.SOLUTION: The droplet discharge head includes: common supply passages 21A, 21B which supply recording liquid to pressure chambers 18A, 18B, respectively; common return passages 26A, 26B to which a part of the recording liquid in the pressure chambers 18A, 18B are returned, respectively; piezoelectric elements 14A, 14B which generate pressure in the pressure chambers 18A, 18B, respectively; and a nozzle plate 11. The droplet discharge head circulates the recording liquid supplied to the pressure chambers 18A, 18B to the common return passages 26A, 26B, and discharges droplets of the recording liquid from nozzle holes 11A, 11B when pressure is generated in the pressure chambers 18A, 18B. The common supply passages 21A, 21B and the common return passages 26A, 26B are respectively arranged on the same side with respect to the pressure chambers 18A, 18B in a longitudinal direction of the pressure chambers 18A, 18B.</p> |
