PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope allowing a change of a visual field direction of an imaging unit incorporated in an insertion part tip part by at-hand operation with a simple configuration without causing unintended movement of a visual field direction by interference with a treatment tool.SOLUTION: A rigid scope includes: an imaging unit 30 incorporated in a tip part 5; wires 16 in each of which the tip is fixed to a wire connection hole of a pressing ring 13 provided in a lens frame 32 constituting the imaging unit 30 and in each of which the base end is pulled or relaxed according to operation of an operation lever; a support member 18 fixed to the inner face of a second tip part constituent member 5b, and having a through hole 18a for the unit provided with wire escape holes 18h through which the wires are inserted and projection parts 18b swingably supporting the outer circumferential face of the lens frame 32; and an imaging unit holding member having elastic force making an optical axis of a most tip optical lens 32f fixed to the lens frame 32 of the imaging unit 30 swingably supported by the projection parts 18b of the support member 18 be held in an insertion part long axis 2a direction.
