The invention relates to a cartridge (1) which comprises: control means (16) for controlling flows of cold fluid and hot fluid that form a mixture; a slide valve (20) for controlling the temperature of the mixture; a thermostatic element (22) that controls the position of the slide valve along an axis (X-X); and a single handle (30), for controlling the flow and the temperature of the mixture, that is movably mounted such as to actuate the control means, by driving same, and move the thermostatic element along the axis. The handle is connected to the thermostatic element by a control nut (38) that is rotatable relative to the body and rotatably connected to the handle; a screw (46) that is screwed into the nut and is rotatably connected to the body; and a rod (40) that is centered on the axis. The thermostatic element axially bears against an axial end (42) of the rod, the screw axially bears against an opposite axial end (44), and an overtravel spring (52) is positioned therebetween. According to the invention, said cartridge is improved by fine adjustment means (54, 56) that connect the end (44) of the rod to the screw. The overtravel spring axially bears against the fine adjustment means which, while the handle is rotatably mounted about the axis, is suitable for changing the position of the rod along the axis, relative to the screw, such as to adjust the position of the thermostatic element without changing the position of the overtravel spring. |
